Financial Assistance

Our principal mission at the Division of Continuing Education is to help people improve themselves by offering quality educational programs. We have been joined in this effort by a group of generous people who have provided financial support for a financial assistance program.

This is designed for adult undergraduate students enrolled in Evening Classes only. If you need financial assistance to pursue your educational goals and you meet the criteria of this program, we invite you to apply for assistance from this fund.

Applicants will be selected on the basis of financial need, academic potential, character, and the capacity to help others develop their skills, talents, and abilities. There are other scholarship opportunities for regular students at BYU, so this fund is designated specifically for adult students in Evening Classes.

The amount of the award will vary according to the need of the student.

QUALIFICATIONS AND INSTRUCTIONS

1. Be or plan to be an undergraduate student in BYU Evening Classes.
2. Be twenty-three years of age or older.
3. Academic Qualification. Applicants are evaluated on the basis of college or high school grades that appear on official transcripts.
4. Financial Need Qualification. The degree of need will be determined by the review committee based upon data provided by the applicant.
5. After the application is reviewed, if there is a need for further information, you will be contacted for an interview with the coordinator of BYU Evening Classes.
